Get Support

Thrive Jersey can provide information, support and practical help to anyone with mental health problems. These are some of the ways that we can help:

Signposting

We can help signpost you to a number of additional local and national support services. There are many organisations on island who are working hard to make the island a happier healthier place. You can find information about them all here.

Information

We can provide information about our islands current stats and figures. We’re working hard to collate data at the moment. Please get in touch if you have any research or would specifically like some figures looked into and we’ll do our best to help.

Personal Support

We can be an ear to listen. We are always happy to meet up to lead a listening ear, sometimes you’re not looking for answers, just somebody to hear you. Get in touch.

Training

We can organise training for you personally or for your organisation. We believe mental health is everyone’s business. Whether you are an individual wishing to increase your knowledge about mental health or an organisation looking for training for your staff, there will be a course for you.

Mind Jersey

Our vision is of a society that promotes and protects good mental health for all and treats people with experience of mental illness, fairly, positively and with respect.

Whatever you’re going through, a Samaritan will face it with you. We’re here 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Caring Cooks

Often families sadly experience some challenging times, be that financially, or perhaps through serious illness.  At times like this, it’s important for families to bond and be together to support each other and there is no better way to do this than at the dining table over a tasty meal.  But often cooking a meal from scratch is just unachievable in these circumstances, which is why our founding Weekly Meal Service is still going strong 5 years later.

Align – Emotional Wellness

Counselling is a unique, one-to-one relationship between two people, to reduce distress, restoring emotional balance and well-being to the client. Therapy can be beneficial for many reasons, including emotional turmoil, difficult life challenges, relationship difficulties, unhealthy coping strategies and common mental health issues. Karina’s core practice is based in the Person-Centred Model however she integrates other modalities where appropriate.
